The role entails the assembly of filter elements in line with standard operating procedures and manufacturing processes. To produce elements that meet quality standards and achieve the required production targets. Flexibility to perform duties within and across various production lines. Process and line changes throughout the plant will occur as business needs require.  The role would suit someone with excellent industrial sewing, upholstery, tailoring or dressmaking skills.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Product assembly at allocated stages within the production line achieving daily/weekly targets. Production targets for each line will vary.
  • Assembly of product in accordance with manufacturing processes.
  • Operate manual and automated equipment as part of the assembly process.
  • Ensure the quality of the product at the production line stage and that all quality checks are carried out and adhered to.
  • Complete relevant paperwork as required.
  • Comply with all PPE and EHS requirements.
  • Actively participate in health and safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain good level of housekeeping.
  • Other duties, areas of responsibility or line changes as required.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
  • Capability to work as part of a team and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Flexibility is essential as this position will require shift patterns (day/evening cycles) and overtime as business needs dictate.


Education and Experience

  • Industrial sewing or domestic sewing experience is essential.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
