SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE MANAGER

 

Location: Houston, Westplain Campus

 

The Supply Chain Excellence Manager partners closely with the Director of Supply Chain to advance the Supply Chain Excellence roadmap and drive execution of key strategic initiatives across Celeros Flow Technology's global operations.

 

This role serves as a key execution partner responsible for driving governance, capability development, process excellence, performance management, and transformation initiatives that improve supply chain effectiveness and organizational maturity.

 

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to translate strategic objectives into executed actions, sustainable improvements, and measurable business results.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Governance & Operating Rhythm

  • Coordinate and maintain the Supply Chain operating rhythm across global operations.
  • Facilitate functional reviews, leadership meetings, and performance management processes.
  • Drive action tracking, KPI governance, and accountability for key Supply Chain priorities.
  • Maintain visibility of strategic initiatives, execution progress, and organizational priorities.

 

Functional Capability Development

  • Support development of Supply Chain competency models and career development frameworks.
  • Coordinate development and deployment of training programs, learning materials, standard work, playbooks, and knowledge-sharing processes across the organization.
  • Promote adoption of Supply Chain standards, best practices, and learning programs across the organization.

 

Process Excellence

  • Lead initiatives to standardize sourcing, procurement, and supplier management processes across the organization.
  • Document, maintain, and improve critical Supply Chain processes, standards, and procedures through process mapping, gap analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Partner with business leaders to improve process consistency, efficiency, compliance, and deployment of best practices.

 

Performance Management

  • Establish and maintain Supply Chain performance management processes, including KPI frameworks, dashboards, reporting tools, and review cadences.
  • Own governance of savings tracking methodologies, supplier performance metrics, scorecards, and reviews presented to executives.
  • Analyze performance trends and partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement opportunities.

 

Transformation & Digital Enablement

  • Drive execution of Supply Chain transformation initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, process performance, and functional capability.
  • Partner with Information Technology and business stakeholders to improve Supply Chain systems, reporting, and digital capabilities.
  • Identify, prioritize, and support implementation of ERP enhancements, automation, AI, and other technology-enabled improvement opportunities.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational change in a matrixed environment.
  • Organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience establishing governance processes, KPI frameworks, and performance reporting systems that drive business performance improvement.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability, including scenario evaluation and the ability to synthesize complex information into concise insights and recommendations for leadership decision-making.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align improvement initiatives to business objectives and performance outcomes.
  • Project and program management capabilities with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Ability to travel globally as required.
  • Able to support global teams across multiple regions and time zones.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Operations, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, or related business functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional process improvement, transformation, capability development, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Background in engineered-to-order, industrial manufacturing, or other low-volume, high-complexity operational environments preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, or equivalent enterprise systems preferred.
  • APICS (CPIM or CSCP), CPSM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar professional certification is helpful but not required.

 

 

Pay Range: The base pay range for this position is $145,000 – 155,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
