JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Site Controller to manage the financial activities of our manufacturing plant. The Site Controller is responsible for developing and implementing financial procedures, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can quickly identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to maximize efficiency.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and direct the activities of the accounting department staff
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective action
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements
  • Develop and maintain operational and financial controls
  • Prepare and manage annual budget and forecast
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
  • Manage payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee records
  • Coordinate and review external audit activities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

 

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP and HFM experience desired
  • Experienced with standard costing methodologies
  • Understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Alignment to the strategic goals of the Company and financial philosophy within the business structure
  • Strong analytical skills – able to assist in identifying and providing solutions to complex operational and financial issues as they impact the function.  Able to create clear action plans.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others through appropriate influencing and negotiation strategies.
  • Can meet commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and to deliver results on time
  • Self-starting with good organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented matrix environment that is fast-paced and demanding

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting required
  • Minimum 5+ years of diverse financial accounting experience in the areas of cost accounting, operations controlling, general accounting, and internal controls
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Planning / HFM accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP preferable
  • Proficiency with integrated business software (ERP) preferably experience with SAP
  • Ability to interact with management in a proactive and professional manner

Salary range - 120-140k Depending on experience
