This role is an essential member of the HR function within Celeros FT with the primary purpose of partnering with the local and regional functional and operational leadership to deliver HR support in line with the strategic objectives of the Company.  The HR Manager has a broad knowledge of all HR functions and performs a variety of tasks and services for our Houston manufacturing facility and its supporting branches, including overseeing generalist HR activities and providing business partnering services including staffing, employee development, employee relations, and organizational development. Support designated management population to improve capability and facilitate the delivery of the end-to-end employee cycle.


Responsibilities for this role include initiating, managing and improving upon the HR processes within the business such as recruiting, new hire processing, employee relations, supporting performance management and improvement processes and talent health checks, salary planning, etc.  Additionally, this role is responsible for projects as assigned, in areas such as compensation and benefits administration, policy and procedure creation, HR continuous improvement/Lean, etc.  The HR Manager will be responsible for ensuring the organization has the structure, culture and talent needed to deliver on business goals and mitigating institutional risk.   


The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of employment law and work well with others. Additionally, they will have strong customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels throughout the organization.  This leader will also develop and maintain a sustained and long-term continuous improvement focused organization that consistently produces improved results while motivating and retaining employees with high performance standards.




  • Develops understanding of and insight into the Celeros Flow Technology operations in region and its current and future business environment to identify people-related opportunities and risks
  • Administration and delivery of human resources policies and procedures to ensure people managers have the appropriate tools to enable their teams to meet their objectives
  • Provide functional / operational management with assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving work performance gaps or staffing needs
  • Partner with the Houston and regional management teams to develop and execute communication plans to ensure a strong understanding of business strategy and direction across the region and to enable each employee to translate this in terms of their role and contribution to drive employee engagement.
  • Manages Strategic Workforce Planning activities, including analysis and support of staffing activity and levels; actively engaging in talent acquisition, and reporting hiring activity as requested.
    • Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions in cooperation with hiring managers and Talent Sourcing team – coach managers to become proficient in hiring activity. 
  • Develops and monitors on-going employee development programs utilizing internal and external resources such as continuing formal education, internal workshops, and periodic presentations.
  • Ensures all Employee related data in the system of record (SuccessFactors) is accurate and that all changes to data are captured (promotions, grade changes, job title changes, Line Manager changes, salary adjustments etc.)
  • Serves as primary point of contact representing the company on employee relations issues and communications within departments/areas of responsibility. 
  • Works with local management on employee performance issues and where necessary; prepares documentation for HR and legal review as required.
  • Builds credible and effective working relationships with the Company’s management teams by coaching, challenging and communicating to develop management and change capability.
  • Provide relevant people information, data and reports to inform and support decisions and determine HR priorities.
  • Serves as employer representative in all employee and employee relations activities within designated departments including negotiation and management of employment agreements and facilitating resolution of disputes as required and appropriate.

  • Demonstrated ability in creative problem-solving and project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications and perform a variety of tasks including special projects with a degree of creativity and latitude
  • Relies on minimal instructions and pre-established guidelines, may require independent judgement to perform the functions of the job 
  • Ability to work in a change focused environment while remaining dedicated to service delivery
  • Ability to work with SLAs & KPIs 





  • Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field and five to seven years of relevant HR experience
  • Strong understanding of Human Resource concepts, practices and procedures
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems, such as SuccessFactors or other equivalent systems
  • Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
  • Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy


  • HR Professional Certification
  • Manufacturing experience
