Responsible for providing engineering support to order engineering, new product development (NPD) & VAVE related to Centrifugal Pumps  within Celeros product portfolio. The incumbent will be based at our Ghaziabad office and will report into Pumps Design Manager.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to end to end order engineering and Aftermarket engineering, product design and development 
  • Creation of GA, 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and BOM using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SAP and Vault
  • Creation of Hydraulic 3D models for multistage centrifugal pumps in SolidWorks
  • Support Reverse engineering activities using SolidWorks and Design-X.
  • Review of technical specifications, analyze requirement and propose engineered solutions
  • Work independently or as a team member in the global engineering environment.
  • Interactions with Celeros FT global engineering teams for efficient execution of the projects.
  • Proper documentation of all work.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Centrifugal Pumps Design and Engineering.
  • Strong CAD skills (Hydraulic Modeling, Part modelling, Drafting and Assembly) in SolidWorks, Design-X & AutoCAD, CAD automation preferred
  • Working experience in SAP and Vault.
  • Knowledge of industry specifications such as API 610, API 682, API seal plans, ASME B16.5, ASME Section VIII, etc. and able to interpret and apply as required.
  • Understanding of GD&T dimensioning and familiar with drafting practices as per ASME Y14.5.
  • Experience in communication with Global clients is added advantage.
  • Ability to review technical specifications, engineering standards and produce associated design documentation.
  • Good spoken and written English skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating thoughts and ideas.

Education and Experience

  • BE in Mechanical Engineering in regular full-time course from recognized institute and university.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in design/order execution from relevant industry with minimum 3 years of Pumps experience.
