WAREHOUSE CLERK
Location: Burlington, Ontario
Work Environment: On-site Monday – Friday
Work Schedule/Hours: Rotating shift - every other week - 7:00 am to 3:15 pm and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Pay Range: $26.80/hour
JOIN OUR TEAM AS A WAREHOUSE CLERK
The Warehouse Clerk is a central player in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of inventory. Working with other key stakeholders, the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory received and completing and ensuring the accuracy of all accompanying paperwork.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Loads/unloads all freight-bearing vehicles and is deemed competent on dock-related equipment, racking systems, and all material handling equipment (e.g., Fork trucks & cranes etc.), including, when required, periodic inspections of equipment.
- Receives product, inspects for suspect damage, verifies product is deemed as acceptable against stated requirements, (e.g., Qty, documentation etc.) and files or retrieves supporting paperwork.
- Receives product into the company ERP, and transports to the appropriate storage location.
- Fulfilment of all inventory requisitions by retrieval from storage locations and issuance through the ERP to the order.
- Packaging and preparation for dispatch for transportation for all products and parts and including the protocols for electronic and paperwork processing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Forklift certified operator preferred, with the ability to operate various types of forklifts;
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift;
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques;
- Basic mathematical skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
- Minimum high school education
- Two years' experience working in a warehouse setting is an asset
- Strong English and computer literacy
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Perform in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- Must comply with all Health and Safety standards, such as but not limited to steel-toed footwear and other appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

- Must be able to carry and move product and/or supplies more than 50lbs;
- Physical effort requiring manual dexterity
- Required daily to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, and see (specific close vision abilities are required to perform computer work)
- Required occasionally to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Required daily to use hands and fingers and arms to reach
- Climb ladders, bend, kneel and lift minimal to heavy material. Working Conditions

Teamsters Local Union position. Starting pay - $23.93/hour
