Technical Repair Coordinator
Location: Burlington, Ontario
Work Environment: On-site Monday – Friday
Work Schedule/Hours: 7:00 am- 4:00 pm
Pay Range: The base pay range for this position is $75,000 – 80,000 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the Centre WiP and Backlog to ensure timely completion of all customer tasks.

Create technical documentation such as but not limited to:

Technical Quotes including correct pricing models and legalities
-
Technical Reports including consolidation of sub contracted reports

Gantt Charts for complex projects and overhauls
-
Work with operations to complete priorities and ensure all required tools and documentation required is in place.

Work with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of all works and backlog.

Planning and executing of projects related to new and pre-existing production lines.

Recognize and resolve tooling related difficulties with existing and new projects while working with the service support staff.

Interface with suppliers of raw materials and tools to establish requirements for start of production.

Investigate and find resolution of specific processing problems for assigned projects/parts.

Conduct follow ups with customers of the reliability and performance of parts or service work.

Develop and review all processes and instructions to ensure accuracy and conformance to actual procedures; revise as needed.

Recognize and resolve process related difficulties with current and future projects.

Review scale drawings to ensure the recommended designs meet manufacturing requirements and capabilities.

Collect data and develop statistics to describe equipment and system functionality.

Estimate durations of development, fabrication, construction, and repair tasks.

Determine which materials and equipment to use for projects and recommend appropriate codes and standards to be utilized.

Adhere to all Celeros, Federal and Provincial Health and Safety, and Environmental requirements.

Support production staff.

Write comprehensive entries into technical logbooks which are then used as reference documents.

Attend all capacity and backlog meetings and coordinate as required.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
-
A university degree or diploma engineering or equivalent.
-
A minimum of one (1) to three years (3) of experience in a service or manufacturing environment.

Experience with risk analysis and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and problem solving techniques such as 8D and 5Y.
-
Ability to take precise measurements using specialized equipment and techniques.

Proficient with Microsoft Office including Project.

Experience with the use of statistical analysis software and computer-assisted design, manufacturing, and machining.

All required & company specified HSE tickets.
