Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end order engineering / new product development / VAVE / calculations and technical 
documentation related to Industrial/Engineered Control and Desuperheater Valves within Celeros FT product 
portfolio spread across industrial, power and energy sectors. Provide engineering support for internal and external 
needs. Apply product knowledge to develop innovative solutions and coordinate with team and Technology teams 
viz. for drawing completion, BOM and design validation.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• At all times be a strong and vocal advocate and actor for maintaining a healthy and safe work 
environment for you and all those around you.
• Lead the design, development, and order engineering activities for valve projects, ensuring alignment 
with technical requirements.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior design engineers.
• Review customer specifications, analyze engineering requirements and propose engineered solutions.
• Perform final review and release of 3D models, assemblies and drawings using Inventor, AutoCAD and 
Vault.
• Generate, organize and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and release BOM’s to production (in SAP system).
• Performing order/design related engineering calculations for day-to-day activities and long-term projects.
Manage engineering deliverables in line with project timelines from initial sales order through execution.
• Plan, coordinate, and prioritize team activities to ensure on-time completion of engineering tasks.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects such as NPD/VAVE and review and communicate the 
impact on engineering activities
• Conduct and lead design reviews, including interpretation and validation of design analysis reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions based on COPQ/customer claims
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal 
performance and collaboration.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Applications, Aftermarket Engineering, and cross-functional teams. 
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in 
alignment with organizational standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Hands-on experience in Control and Desuperheater Valve Design and Order Engineering.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles, root cause analysis, and documentation control.
• Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing techniques, and design for 
manufacturability/assembly/testing.
• Experience of applicable Valve codes/standards viz ASME Sec VIII Div 1 & 2, ASME B16.34, ASME B16.25, 
16.5.
• Experience of design software (AutoCAD, Inventor & SolidWorks) and ERP systems.
• Ability to review customer specifications and produce associated design documentation as GA and 
manufacturing drawings.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to influence decisions through technical insight.
• Excellent leadership and technical communication skills.
• Experience of Pressure Vessel Design would be advantage.
• Knowledge of imperial/metric Drafting Standards and GD&T dimensioning per ASME Y14.5.
• Good spoken and written English skills.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university (full-time/regular 
course). 
• 12–18 years of experience in design and order engineering within a relevant industry. 
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in control valve design and engineering.
