Production Planning Engineer

1.     Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Manager – Engineering Operation and is responsible for the effective Routing of Product assembly and Components for production in SAP. 

1. Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Create Routings for Assemblies & components in SAP
• Daily review of routing orders and plan execution accordingly
• Review requirements mentioned in Sales Order, BOM & drawings for material specifications, heat treatments and special manufacturing instructions.
• Review ITPs for quality requirements
• Review and update routings for changes like Run Time, works centre, etc
• Working closely with Production planning team to analyse the manufacturing processes and look for areas of improvement

1. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• A comprehensive understanding of the SAP – T Codes (CA01/02/03, CS01, VA01 & CO 03)
• Capable of reading Engineering drawings and Production Orders, BOM & Specs.
• Should be able to communicate fluently in English with external and internal stakeholders
• Experience in MS Office tools

1. Education and Experience

• Diploma/B.E with mechanical/industrial/production engineering in full time regular course from recognised university and institute in India

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
