1.0 Job Summary
As an expert in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO), you will provide system implementation, module development, troubleshooting, and system support for the global Celeros team. The specialist ensures all IT services align with established operational processes and governance.
2.0 Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- System Support: Provide expert-level support for SAP FI/CO modules and business processes across all business units, Shared Service Centers, and key stakeholders.
- Implementation: Lead and participate in the implementation and development of SAP Financial business systems.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve SAP-related technical and business process issues reported by global operations.
- Project Management: Contribute to business systems projects through active team participation and vendor/contract management.
- Techno-Functional Expertise: Utilize deep experience with SAP ECC and R/3 environments to optimize financial systems.
3.0 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge in the configuration and implementation of all SAP FICO sub-modules (including CO-PA, CO-PCA, and CO-PC); FSCM and FAM experience is highly advantageous.
- Integration: Strong understanding of financial integration between SAP sub-modules (SD, MM) and BW, as well as Avalara and SAP Solution Manager.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to validate business needs and document "as-is" and "to-be" processes using standard mapping tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence executive-level staff.
- Work Ethic: Professional and proactive approach with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Travel: Ability to travel for short-term overseas assignments as required.
4.0 Education and Experience
- Professional Experience: 15+ years of experience in SAP financial process development within large-scale manufacturing/engineering or IT consulting.
- Implementation History: Participation in at least 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Education: A full-time degree in Commerce or Information Technology from a recognized university or institute.
- Preferred Skills:

- Global stakeholder management experience
- Knowledge of Hyperion are highly desirable.
- Knowledge on US taxation via tools like Vertex, Avalara
- Experience in enterprise consolidation / group reporting via SAP CS or other 3rd party applications like Hyperion etc.
- Exposure to usage of OCR(Optical Character Recognition) tools for Vendor invoice processing such as VIM / Kofax Readsoft.
- Handling of India GST taxation and e-invoicing processes
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
