ERP Program Lead (SAP)

Job Summary
The ERP Program Lead should have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner and incumbent will be based in Bangalore office and reporting to Director, ERP Systems and Manufacturing Applications.
The goal is to ensure ERP Programs & Projects deliver the desirable outcome to our organization, by working with stakeholders in various business functions and senior IT management to align the ERP Roadmap with business targets. The successful candidate working with the stakeholders must be able to make frequent trade-offs between business targets and projects and/or operational performance.
As a senior member of the team there are expectations that large strategic projects will be managed by the ERP Program Lead.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Program Management
- Align the ERP Roadmap with business objectives
- Working with stakeholders in the various business functions, senior IT management and IT Technical leads ensuring the ERP Roadmap is agreed and socialized and aligned with business strategy
- Using the ERP Roadmap to create resource plans and timings for new initiatives
- Provide direction to IT team members and project managers on projects dependencies and the ERP Roadmap
- Project Management
- Ensure Projects are documented to Celeros Project Management methodologies
- Following up on tasks within projects and alignment of the project plan
- Producing project documentation for the Senior Leadership Team and business stakeholders
- Chairing project meetings as per the defined cadence for a project
- Ensure project resources are aligned to project timelines
- Escalation of risks to required teams and coordination of those risks throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Evolve Celeros Project Management methodologies
- Project Inception
- Working with stakeholders and IT Technical leads to create the business requirements for new business initiatives
- Work with stakeholders to build Project Teams
- Define documentation requirements for lifecycle of project using project tailoring tools
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in a project management role
- Extensive experience using project management software MS Project, MS Teams, MS Planner and SAP preferably ECC6
- Thorough knowledge of CPQ Systems, Microsoft 365 suite and integration between system
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies
- At least four full cycle SAP implementations as a Project Manager and or Program Manager
- Experience communicating with global business users regarding business operations and process improvement initiatives
- Experience communicating with senior management and other functional stakeholders regarding business priorities
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience collaborating with multi-person virtual teams
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, have excellent initiative and possess strong analytical skills
- Strong personal motivation, excellent work ethic and positive, team-oriented mindset
Mandatory Education and Experience
- B. Tech/B. E/MCA in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- PMP certification strongly preferred
- PgMP certification an asset but not required
- At least 12+ years’ experience in a project management preferably managing SAP implementation projects for MNC clients or companies
