Commercial Support Associate (SAP Order Booking)

JOB SUMMARY
This position will report into the Pump product line Commercial Aftermarket Director and will be based at the Bangalore office. The incumbent will be responsible for inward order booking, invoicing, commission allocation and order handover for the Commercial Aftermarket function..
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take order bookings and ensure that order throughput is managed in a timely fashion
- Prepare customer invoices and liaise with customer for timely payments
- Liaise with other members of Aftermarket team on a regular basis for updates of orders & update order status to customers.
- Liaise with other key internal departments such as Finance and Shipping
- Ensure compliance with commercial departmental procedures.
- Manage the pre handover and handover process to projects team.
- Ensure Export compliance is strictly adhered to.
- Train new commers in the team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Excellent English communication skills
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Demonstrates great customer relationships – inside and outside of the organization
- Has good attention to detail and is numerically minded
- Seeking ways to improve processes and efficiency
- Works well within a team environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- B.Com/BBA/ any degree in regular course from a recognized institute and university in India.
- Mandatory to have experience in interacting and handling UK or US customers
- 2-4 years of work experience within a support role in a commercial/financial department and prefer manufacturing segment prior experience
- Capability to understand company products, especially API Pumps
