ClydeUnion Pumps SAS, a brand of the Celeros Flow Technology group, is one of the global specialists in industrial pumping solutions, providing expertise across numerous sectors. Our French site, employing 200 people and located in Annecy (74), specializes in the design and manufacture of centrifugal pumps, primarily for the Oil & Gas and Nuclear markets.

 

Reporting to the Methods Manager the Manufacturing Engineer will prepare, define, and optimize the resources required for the production of motor pump units. You contribute to the industrialization of new products, the evolution of standards, the drafting and updating of procedures, the validation of processes and tooling, as well as the management of investment and standardization projects, in compliance with Quality, Nuclear Safety, and Q3SER/HSE requirements.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer specifications and validate industrial feasibility, including defining and supervising tests or trials when necessary.
  • Draft, update, and standardize manufacturing routings and procedures, and ensure their proper implementation in production.
  • Contribute to product design and provide "production" expertise in technical decision-making.
  • Assess, validate, and ensure the availability and compliance of tooling prior to production launch, and improve it based on feedback.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and lead QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) optimization actions, including risk analysis and problem-solving.
  • Lead or contribute to industrialization, investment, or continuous improvement projects: investment cases, supplier selection, equipment acceptance, and performance verification.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing standards (time standards, standard routings, assembly/adjustment practices).
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, nuclear safety requirements, and HSE / Q3SER regulations.

 

With an engineering degree in mechanical or general engineering, you have at least 3 years of experience in methods or industrialization. 

 

You are capable of analyzing customer or regulatory specifications, defining manufacturing procedures—particularly in painting—and ensuring their proper implementation. You are proficient in process optimization tools and methods, as well as techniques related to mechanics, assembly, CAD, welding, and painting. You also have skills in project management and problem-solving (FMEA, etc.).

You are proficient in SAP and standard office tools, and have a B2 level of English.

Rigor, autonomy, analytical thinking, synthesis skills, organization, diplomacy, and strong interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this role.
