GENERAL SUMMARY

The Valve Service Engineer will provide services support, repair and/or troubleshooting on Celeros & third party control and isolation valve products in our workshops, on end-user sites or remotely.

 

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Service and repair of control valve and isolation valve products at customer sites, covering Celeros & third party products.
  • Supervise the installation & commissioning of Celeros control valves, isolation valves and steam conditioning valves.
  • Trouble shoot operating problems at site or remotely via telephone or other communication systems including instrumentation and actuation.
  • Be available to travel within and outside of the UK at short notice. Overseas travel will be required.
  • Provide basic training to end-user staff on how to correctly operate and maintain Celeros valve products.
  • Support and preparation of RAMS
  • Preparation of post-trip reports, timesheets, & documentation packs, including case studies.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge with globe Control Valves, Actuated Isolation Valves and Steam Conditioning Valves and associated actuation and instrumentation
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office applications.
  • Good communication skill and appetency.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Travel to end-users' jobsite frequently

 

 

Education and Experience

  • Experience of the process and standards used in assembly and testing of controls valves.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation control, actuation and calibration.
  • Successful track record of working unsupervised at a wide number of sites and locations.
  • Trained in rigging and lifting.
  • Full UK driving license.
